John Mabilia, a prominent figure in the plumbing industry, embarked on his journey by completing his apprenticeship in 1979 in Victoria. During this formative period, he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the plumbing trade.
Upon completing his apprenticeship, John wasted no time in putting his expertise to use. He took on independent projects for builders in Victoria, showcasing his craftsmanship and dedication to delivering high-quality plumbing solutions. His commitment to excellence earned him a reputation as a reliable professional in the field.
In pursuit of further growth and development, John joined Reece Plumbing Supplies, a well-known name in the plumbing industry. During his time there, he contributed to the distribution and supply of plumbing materials, gaining insights into the industry’s inner workings and building connections with fellow professionals.
In 1990, John made a significant life decision by relocating to Queensland. This move not only marked a change in location but also a pivotal shift in his career trajectory. Driven by his passion for plumbing and a desire for independence, he established SJM Plumbing Services in 1998.
Behind every successful man is a woman who provides unwavering support. Sandra, John wife, played a crucial role in his journey. While John was busy working and building his plumbing career, Sandra was at home, raising their four sons. These four sons later became apprentice plumbers within SJM Plumbing Services, further solidifying the family’s involvement in the business.
The establishment of SJM Plumbing Services marked a turning point in John’s journey. With his extensive knowledge, hands-on experience, and a vision for providing top-notch plumbing services, he ventured into the competitive Gold Coast market. Corey King began his journey in the plumbing industry by completing his apprenticeship in 2004 under the guidance of his father, John Mabilia who was a prominent figure in the Gold Coast plumbing scene. Throughout his early years, Corey gained valuable skills and experience while working for their family business, SJM Plumbing Services.
In 2018, a turning point occurred when Corey’s father, John, fell ill. This unfortunate event led Corey and his brother Nathan to step up and take over as directors of SJM Plumbing Services. Despite the challenges, the brothers showed remarkable leadership and determination, which led to the company’s exponential growth within the plumbing industry in southeast Queensland.
Corey’s passion for large plumbing civil projects became evident as he took on various significant endeavours. His expertise in managing and executing these projects contributed to the continued success of SJM Plumbing Services. However, his versatility allowed him to excel in all aspects of plumbing, showcasing his well-rounded skill set.
Corey’s commitment to the plumbing industry, coupled with his hands-on experience and leadership skills, has made him an invaluable asset to both his family business and All Plumbing. With nearly two decades of experience under his belt, he continues to set high standards for himself and his team.

Nathan Mabilia, born as the second youngest among four brothers, embarked on a journey that would shape his career and family legacy. In 2005, he completed his plumbing apprenticeship under the guidance of his father, John Mabilia, within their family business, SJM Plumbing Services. Nathan’s early exposure to the trade and his father’s expertise instilled in him a deep understanding of the plumbing industry’s nuances.
However, fate had more in store for Nathan. In 2018, when his father’s health began to decline, Nathan and his brother Corey assumed pivotal roles within the family business. Taking on the responsibilities of directors, they stepped up to ensure the continuity and success of SJM Plumbing Services. With a shared vision and determination, they navigated the challenges that come with such a transition, preserving the legacy their father had built.
Nathan’s unique skills set him apart within the field. He developed a passion for excavation work and large-scale construction projects, particularly in rural areas. His proficiency in these areas allowed him to contribute significantly to the growth of the business. His expertise extended to specialized knowledge in Home Sewer Treatment Plant (HSTP) systems and innovative alternative sanitary drainage solutions. This comprehensive skill set positioned SJM Plumbing Services as a go-to provider for complex projects in Southeast Queensland.

He was capable of tackling a wide range of plumbing requirements, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
